The Vacancy
We are looking for a Junior Process Engineer !
Key Responsibilities:
Supports the development of plant leadership and employees relative to root cause analysis, continuous improvement principles and methodologies, 5S, etc.
Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects or task forces, and deliver measurable, sustainable results.
Improve the existing products and processes using continuous improvement efforts.
Prepare process controls and manufacturing instructions to maximize material and production efficiencies.
Conduct project management activities.
Running strategic improvement projects using a structured approach with clear targets, project plans and key performance indicators.
Identifying and, where appropriate, implementing new ways of working (including lean manufacturing tools), equipment and processes to improve performance.
Setting up best practice for ways of working, systems and processes such as SOPs, change control etc.
Facilitating and supporting improvement teams.
Monitoring and, where appropriate, setting up key performance indicators and using these to generate/measure improvements.
Developing and producing relevant training packages and delivering this training to all personnel as required.
Act as an area resource to support assigned projects from concept, scope development, functional specifications, and installation through final start-up, acceptance and project close-out.
Coach/lead problem solving activities to improve the process and its reliability.
